The methods of teaching I use aim at increasing the students sensitivity to beauty and tone, fosters quickness of thought and action, and creates success and security on the instrument.
The most important part of music study takes place at home. At home the student tries out new ideas, plays his/her assignment as specified, and has fun experimenting.
It is a good idea for the whole family to be involved in
music lessons.
Music study is a course that many will want to pursue for years to come, so laying a good foundation is the most important thing you can do for a beginner.
The overall goal is to improve as a musician by advancing the students technical and mechanical skills.To help them gain in understanding and importance the stylistic characteristics appropriate to a variety of repertoire.
Students will obtain and make progress in the ability to
sight-read and accompany on the piano.
And finally they will acquire a knowledge of music theory
and composition.
